Rocks, Pebbles and Sand ... Career & Life students studied this powerful metaphor in their goals unit that illustrates that if you start by filling your life with the small stuff, you won't have room for the things that are actually important. The moral is to put the “big rocks” first in life before addressing the smaller pebbles and sand.
Our Career & Life Planning students each painted a rock to help remind themselves of what one of their big "rocks" in life are.

Good Luck to both GMS Football Teams today vs. Andover Central at Challenger Field.. Both games have League placing on the line. Go Lions! #LionSTYLE

The Pumpkin Chunkin' STEM Challenge requires students to work in teams to design and build a catapult that launches a candy pumpkin the farthest distance. The activity not only taps into the Halloween theme but also reinforces key principles of physics and engineering. Plus, it's a great way to foster teamwork and creative problem-solving. Students in Ms. Gill and Mrs. Schick's Math + classes compete against each other, and the winning class gets to house the trophy until the next competition.

Don't forget to stop by the book fair in the library during conferences! Students will get their names put in a drawing to spend $25 at the fair if parents come during conferences!

Last week was Mr. James' birthday, so the school celebrated by dressing up in their superhero garb! We hope you felt celebrated, Mr. James!

Math 7+ students studied for their one-step equation quiz by doing a battleship activity! It was so fun!

No school 10/16-10/18 for Parent Teacher Conferences!
