Students from several schools in the district gathered on the GHS football field to set a world record for the largest human-shaped Pi symbol for Pi Day on 3/14! GMS students enjoyed walking there and back in the beautiful weather!

Mrs. Quade's class had a fun time playing a place value comparison game using teamwork and UNO!


Reading classes got to experience a "book tasting" this week in the library's reading cafe!


We want to celebrate our GMS Goddard Alpha Robotics team as they celebrate their achievement and prepare for the World Championships in St. Louis!


For March, our Circle of Friends group played board games! Board games are a great way to work on teamwork, communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills! Everyone had a great time!

A big thank you to WSU Future Tech Lab for spending their day with GMS Career and Life and FACS students today to expose them to some great careers in drone piloting as well as robotics technicians to get our students future ready!

The library is hosting a March Madness-style book tournament! 16 popular titles were chosen, students will do optional voting for elimination, and we will see which title is our champion most popular book!

Congratulations to Mrs. Gardner and the choir students! A small group of students traveled to and competed in Salina, with several individual students earning Outstanding or Excellent ratings. The boys ensemble, girls ensemble, and mixed ensembles all earned an Outstanding rating as well. Great job, students!


Today we celebrate school social workers, and we know GMS has the best! Thank you, Ms. Ferris, for all you do each day for so many of our students and for Circle of Friends!

Congrats to these three GMS students who were picked out of over 500 in the state who were able to audition to participate in the KMEA Middle Level All-State Choir. Only 180 are picked to participate. Greyson Inslee, Shaelynn Hickman, and Emma Weigant. Great job!!
