Welcome to Mrs. Kimber’s Classroom!
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Aristotle
Hello students and parents. This is my third year teacher here at Goddard Middle School and my fourth year teaching altogether. I received my Associates of Arts in Education at Cowley County Community College. I then went on to get my Bachelor’s of Science in Education Degree through Newman University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I am currently enrolled at Pittsburgh State University where I will be working on my Masters Degree in Special Education. I am serving as the Instructional Strategies teacher for English Language Arts for both 7th and 8th grade students.
I have been happily married to my husband, Brett Kimber for 16 years. He is a teacher in the Wichita School District. We have a beautiful daughter (Halle), a wonderful son-in-law (Brandon), and two fabulous granddaughters (Amari and Briella). Last, but not least. We also have 2 furry family members, Lilly and Frodo.
I enjoy having such fabulous students in my classroom. They are all wonderful and talented.
I want to thank you for sharing your most precious gifts with us here at Goddard Middle School.
