I am very excited to teach at Goddard Middle School this year!
I graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 2004 and attended Emporia State University beginning that fall. I earned degrees in both Elementary Education and Spanish. After graduating from college in the winter of 2008, I took a job teaching high school Spanish in Cheney, Kansas. I taught there for 9 years and earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum from Baker University.

I am blessed to be teaching both Spanish and Computer Applications at Goddard Middle School. This is my 2nd year teaching at GMS. I have loved getting to know all of my colleagues and working with this district has been a great experience thus far!
I have experience teaching at the following levels:
Kindergarden: 2 Week Shadowing Experience
2nd Grade-All Subjects: 1 Semester of Student Teaching
6th Grade-All Subjects: 1 Semester of Student Teaching
3rd and 4th Grade – All Subjects: 2 Years of Summer School
9th-12th Grade Spanish Levels 1-4: 8 Years of Professional Teaching
7th-8th Grade Spanish and Computer Applications: 1 Year
In 2011 I married my husband, Warren Potter. We have a daughter named Braylee who is a very fun, intelligent, spunky 4 year old! Braylee is in Preschool but will start Kindergarten at Apollo Elementary School next fall. We also are a foster family meaning that we occasionaly have foster children staying at our house as well! We are also joined in our house by our 11 year old cat, Ace.
I love traveling, reading, teaching, health coaching and being a mom! These are my passions in life!
