Hello! My name is Chari Michael with a family of six children, whom are out of the home making a way in the world for themselves. My husband and I live on a small farm between Kingman and Cheney. Our lives are busy with teaching, building and creating crosses, and activities with our family.
First, I started my academic journey and obtained an Associate's Degree at Hutchinson Community College in pursuit of an Industrial Orginizational Psychology degree. Kansas State University is where I continued my education and changed my major to Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Shortly after receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I completed my special education degree with ACCK through McPherson College. My most recent accomplishment was when I obtained a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction through Southwestern University.
This will be my second year teaching 7th Grade Reading. I have been teaching special education 7th and 8th grade for the past 19 years. Within that time I have taught Math, Reading, Written Language, Study Skills, Science, Social Studies, and Life Skills. Goddard Middle School has been my home since 2008 teaching Reading, Study Skills, and Written Language.
